After heavy overcast skies on my last trip north, the sun came out for my hike to the shore of Lake Huron on the Hobson Trail. Jordan and I met a couple returning on the trail and had an enjoyable, socially distanced chat before continuing on our way.
As we broke out of the woods from the trail and onto the shore, the sun was blazing it's halo and a single sun dog over the Lake Huron horizon.

Upon seeing this, there were two choices that occurred to me, pull up a seat, sit and bask in the warm glow or extend our hike along the shore toward Baptist Island. We chose the later and had a wonderful time before returning to the car. I intend to return ...
