Last Thursday, Lynn and I left to visit good friends of ours in Charlottesville Virginia to attend the their daughter's wedding and grabbed a couple days to see some sights. Sunday was a full travel day returning home, with a stop to fuel, feed, stretch and shop. We didn't arrive home until 10:00 last night so today's image(s) have been quickly selected from those taken during an early morning walk around UVA where the Wedding was held.
The beautiful university grounds and Jeffersonian Architecture provided some different subject matter for me to photograph. I chose to focus (pun intended) on some of the original structures in and around the Rotunda, Pavilions and The Lawn ... such a peaceful area early on a summer Sunday morning.
